Rinse Non-Infill Artificial Grass With Water

One of the major advantages of non-infill artificial grass is that there are no sand or rubber granules that need to be removed or replenished.

Regular water rinsing can help remove:

  • Dust
  • Pollen
  • Fine dirt
  • Food residues
  • Pet-related contamination
  • Surface pollutants

For a residential garden, balcony or terrace, monthly rinsing or cleaning when needed may be sufficient.

Higher-traffic sports facilities may require more frequent cleaning depending on local conditions.

Do not rely on extremely high water pressure

High-pressure cleaning should be used carefully.

Directly concentrating very high-pressure water on seams or the backing may potentially damage adhesive bonds or disturb the backing structure.

A moderate-pressure spray distributed across the surface is generally a safer approach.

The actual cleaning pressure should follow the turf manufacturer’s technical recommendations.
