Remove Odour From Pet Turf By: 

1. Hosing Area with hose 
2. Make 1:1 solution of water and vinegar
3. Spray solution 
4. Rinse area with a garden hose

When you find dried doggy doo this what you need to do: 

1. Spray Feces to loosen it 
2. Pick up 
3. Spray again with a hose 
4. Make a 1:1 solution of water and vinegar
5. Spray the area with the solution
6. Then use some paper towel and spray to remove any lingering pieces
7. Spray area again with a hose

Another option would be to purchase an artificial pet turf deodorizer. However, vinegar really works just as great. Bonus that is non-toxic and safe for both pets and children. 

Of course, if your dog is going to pee, it is also going to poo. The best way to maintain your pet turf is to try and scoop up and dispose of your dog’s feces right away. The sooner you scoop the poop, the easier it is to clean. 

We recommend taking a couple of seconds to hose down the affected area for large animals to ensure no residual bacteria is still lingering. 

If you get busy or forget to scoop up your dog’s poop for a couple of days or longer, it won’t be as easy to clean up after your pet. This is true for both natural and artificial grass.

We started the Casa Loma artificial grass installation by removing and excavating the existing 4-5 inches of grass and soil. We replaced that space with a well compacted and graded limestone screening space. The turf gets laid down over that limestone screening space, then gets trimmed out very tightly against any of the bordering.materials (fence, garden, interlock).

We anchored the turf down to the base with 6-inch long galvanized spikes. A light top dressing of sand, brushed in against the fibers was the finishing touch to keep the turf fiber standing up, as well as making them look nice, lush and green.
