Three-Tier Utilization System:
Tier 1 Utilization (High-Performance Applications):
– Magnetic and air separation to remove metal and fiber impurities
– Surface activation treatment to restore elasticity
– Used as surface material for community fitness paths
– Retains 85% of original performance
Tier 2 Utilization (Engineering Applications):
– Fine crushing (particle size ≤ 2mm)
– Mixed with asphalt for noise-reducing road surfaces
– Experiments show: Asphalt pavement with 15% recycled rubber granules reduces traffic noise by 3-5 decibels
Tier 3 Utilization (Basic Applications):
– Carbonization treatment to convert into rubber carbon black
– Used as filler for rubber products
– Or blended with plastics to produce low-value products like municipal trash bins
